COMED Presents Pancreatic Cancer Research at “Research and Innovation in Health” Event

COMED’s pancreatic cancer research program was selected among leading projects to present its work, with Nezih Hekim, Nadir Gül and Cenk Öztürk representing the team.

COMED Therapeutics was honored to be invited to the “Research and Innovation in Health” event hosted by Hon. Keith Azzopardi Tanti, Parliamentary Secretary for Youth, Research and Innovation, on 18 February in Naxxar.

Our pancreatic cancer research program, previously awarded and funded by Xjenza Malta, was selected as one of the leading projects invited to present. Prof. Nezih Hekim, PhD, shared our work, while Dr. Nadir Gül contributed to the panel discussion as project lead, joined by our CEO, Cenk Öztürk, MD.

The strong engagement from participants highlighted the relevance of the work, while the presence and support of Hon. Keith Azzopardi Tanti reflected Malta’s clear commitment to advancing scientific research. We are grateful for this support as COMED continues to develop technologies aimed at shaping the future of global health.
